Scope: 4 Hours of dedicated work.
Best For: Focused repair sessions, multiple door/hardware adjustments, or localized trim installation.
Covers dispatch, mobile setup, and up to the first 60 minutes of labor.
Materials and Supplies Billed separately.
Billing: Billed in 30-minute increments ($60 / 30 min) for authorized client additions or unforeseen structural site conditions exceeding your scheduled block.
Our Guarantee: Time extensions are always discussed and authorized with you before any additional time is applied. You will never see an unexpected labor charge on your final invoice.

Materials & Invoicing Policy
Consumables Included: Standard fasteners, shims, wood glue, painter’s tape, and basic abrasives stocked in our mobile workshop are covered by our standard labor rates.
Job-Specific Materials: Dedicated project materials—including sheet goods, framing lumber, prehung doors, architectural trim, specialty hardware, drywall, and texture supplies—are itemized and billed separately.
Client-Supplied Materials: Homeowners are welcome to purchase their own materials and fixtures.
Paint & Wall Finishes: Drywall restorations are completed to a textured, PVA-primed finish ready for paint. If finish wall color application is requested, the client provides the matching wall paint, and a flat $150 application and tool cleanup fee will be added to the invoice.
While our installation labor is backed by our workmanship standard, EmberScale Carpentry & Design does not warrant third-party materials against manufacturer defects, warping, or component failure. Further details in Terms and Conditions.
Day Rate Limitations:
Limitations: Excludes specialized drywall restoration, multi-coat hot-mud repairs, and spray-texture matching (quoted separately as flat-rate restorations).

Standalone drywall restorations, multi-coat "hot-mud" repairs, and precision spray-texture matching are not included in general hourly or daily packages.
There are specialized tools and multi-step process required, these are typically quoted separately as flat-rate services.
(As always, job-specific materials are billed separately.)

Day packages cover localized repair or replacement of paint-grade trim. Stain-grade woodwork, custom hardwood species, and specialized architectural profiles require a dedicated project estimate.

Door services are limited strictly to hanging, replacing, and adjusting interior doors.
Stain Grade Doors will require additional charges.
We do not install, replace, or service exterior entry doors or windows. (Interior Trim services is available.)

Emberscale Carpentry is limited to interior work only.

Electrical:
Limited strictly to direct 1-to-1 receptacle, switch, and light fixture replacements where existing wiring and junction boxes are sound.
Running new circuits, tracing faults, or in-wall wiring repairs must be performed by a licensed electrician (trusted referrals available upon request).
Plumbing & HVAC:
EmberScale Carpentry & Design does not perform plumbing & HVAC services. (Trusted referrals available upon request).

Water Damage Policy:
Active Leaks: All plumbing or roof leaks must be fully resolved, verified, and dried before site work begins.
Mold & Fungus: We do not service areas with active mold, mildew, or fungal contamination. These require professional third-party remediation prior to carpentry or sheetrock installation.
Drywall Stand-Alone Services
Price Determined Onsite
1 to 2 small cuts (up to 16" × 16", such as plumbing pipe access or electrical boxes).
Includes solid wood backing, sheetrock, setting-type "hot mud" coats, fast-dry skim, texture match (orange peel or knockdown), and PVA primer. Single-visit completion.
Day Package Add on: ($125-$350)
Price Determined Onsite
3 to 5 trade cuts across walls, or a 2' × 4' ceiling repair.
Includes containment, backing, tape, multiple hot mud passes, air-mover drying, and texture matching.
Day Package add on: ($425 - $650)
Pricing Determined onsite
Large cutouts, overhead smooth-finish ceiling repairs, or multi-room trade cuts.
